MOBILISE!

is a project based in Montreal that was launched because the range of prevention options has continued to grow and improving access to these options is crucial to putting an end to the epidemic. The project brings together a variety of participants (community members, community workers, health and social service professionals) and helps them work and take action together.

Our goals are to

  • compare “combination prevention” practices (different ways to prevent HIV beyond just condoms),
  • produce and distribute informative material on combination prevention and the prevention of other sexually transmitted infections (STIs),
  • foster collaboration between partners (community organizations, clinics, health system) to help shape programs and policies,
  • improve sexual health services and access to combination prevention in Montreal (and eventually elsewhere!)
